My War With Greys
Greetings Family,
I've been dealing with grey hair for the longest,😒but it's prevalent in one particular spot, dead smack in the front of my head! I've been using my henna concoction for many years now, but unfortunately the greys seem to be winning. So, I switched it up and added a bottle of semi permanent vegan burgundy dye to my henna mixture. However, I did NOT know how it was going to turn out.
Girl, are you sure about the concoction you've made, was in my mind and resonated to my face. But, I reminded myself that everything is natural so how could I go wrong? 🤷🏾♀️
My aloe vera conditioner mix was made from my very own aloe vera plant that my neighbor gave me a while back. It started off as one and after losing one plant (my neighbor's children over watered it 🤦🏾♀️), but nevertheless she has sprouted into 4 plants. I now have to replant 2 into another pot. Lastly, you know I had to put some of my Moisturize Me on my mane to protect it for the blowout.
One of the many things I love about Henna treatments is the conditioning component. My mane comes out so soft!! As soon as I rinse out the henna, I always realize that at that moment, my hair feels just like wool! Here is a link to view my previous Henna Treatments.
I was hoping the color would put the greys to shame, but it seems as though those soldiers are tough and stubborn!! As many of y'all are fully aware, I can be just as stubborn so I will continue to create concoctions to rid myself of this grey patch. For now, my hair is now treated and prepped for a proper blowout! Until next time...Shauntay
may God bless you my dear how are you I hope you have a lovely Monday
